Left Hand Path

Left Hand Path is an elevated neighborhood bar in Bushwick, Brooklyn, featuring inventive cocktails and food in a warm and welcoming environment.

I wanted to pay respect to the history of the storefront, which was Bruno’s Hero Sandwiches in the 1970’s and appeared The French Connection. I also explored neon signage and the colors and textures from the interior, particularly the rivets on the banquettes and square nails on the wood paneling.

The style of the lettering was inspired by the glow of neon lighting. The decorative shapes echo the brass rivets of the banquettes and rustic square nails in the paneling. The rust and the gold tones evoke warm lighting and coziness.
